Generics Month, celebrated every September, serves as a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the importance of accessible, affordable, and high-quality generic medicines. Its purpose goes beyond promotion—it aims to educate the public about safe and effective alternatives to branded medicines, empower communities to make informed healthcare choices, and reduce the financial burden of medical treatments for Filipino families. In line with this purpose, Rose Pharmacy proudly reaffirms its commitment to championing better healthcare for all.
Staying true to its core values, the company spearheads a yearly Medical Mission both in its adopted community and at the head office. This annual initiative provides free and essential health services—including general physician consultations, nutritional counseling, ECG, blood sugar testing, bone density screening, cholesterol testing, and other vital medical check-ups. Participants also receive complimentary medicines and health products made possible through the generous support of partner suppliers and Rose Pharmacy’s own brands—Rose Pharmacy Generics and Guardian.
Beyond offering healthcare services, Generics Month has grown into a meaningful season of collaboration and volunteerism across departments. Pharmacists generously share their time and expertise during the medical mission, the Merchandising Team actively engages suppliers for support, and the HR, Marketing, and other departments work seamlessly together to bring this initiative to life. The program extends its impact not only to underprivileged members of the adopted community with limited healthcare access, but also to employees and their families at the head office.
Through this annual endeavor, Rose Pharmacy continues to uphold its advocacy for community health and wellness—proving that the company’s mission extends beyond business, and that its true purpose lies in caring passionately for people.
